Simply Mauvelous

I've always wanted to have a pretty manicure but didn't have the time or money to stay on top of having a fresh manicure. This allows me have beautiful nails on my own time and for so much less than a salon visit. Will forever be a fan!

This is a great color. Actually works as a great neutral!

I was slightly disappointed when I opened these because the color on the box was not the color that the nails truly are. I really wanted something like the box color and I was mistakenly expecting them to match the box. They can have a purple hue if you wear purple colors.

I am extremely impressed and happy with the durability of this product. I work outside with my hands and riding horses. Typically my nails are ruined within 2 days unless I do acrylics but I'm going on day 5 and they are nearly in perfect condition still. There is no peeling, separation, and very minimal chipping. I have to scrape my finger nails against a lot of surfaces every day so I was expecting that to cause the nails to start separating from the tip of my nail but they are still perfect!

There are some surface scratches that I fully expect with my line of work but I'm super impressed because you can only tell if you hold your hand close you your face and look for them. They aren't interupptung the color or texture of the strips. There are one or two tiny chips but I'll blame that on this being my first application. *I did not apply any top coat to these*

I applied these to very short nails as I'm a nail biter and they were relatively easy to apply. I had to do a lot of filing because i couldn't cut very close to the tips of my nails, but that didn't affect the end result or durability of the strips.

To sum up, the box doesn't represent the color of the nails well, the durability is 10/10, and the application is simple even on short nails!
