How to Apply

Your nail polish wraps

Step 1

Prep

Shape your nails with the nail file and push back your cuticles with the cuticle stick. Clean your nails with the alcohol prep pad to remove any oils.

1

Hot Tip!

Avoid water, lotions, and oils for about 1 hour before and after application

Step 2

Strengthen

For optimal nail health and best results, apply our base coat and let dry.

1

Hot Tip!

Apply base coat to strengthen your nails and provide the nail wrap a smooth oil-free surface to adhere to

2

Hot Tip!

Do not apply the nail wraps while the base coat is still wet, as this may lead to the nail wraps not adhering properly

Step 3

Select

Select a nail polish wrap slightly smaller than the width of your nail and gently peel away from the paper backing.

1

Hot Tip!

Get multiple uses out of each nail wrap by cutting them in half. For best results, cut them while still on the paper backing

2

Hot Tip!

Put the leftovers nail wraps in an air tight bag for later use

3

Hot Tip!

Each end of the nail wrap is a different size, giving you more opportunities to find the perfect fit

Step 4

Apply

Apply the wrap firmly to your nail, leaving a small gap between the cuticle and the wrap.

1

Hot Tip!

Avoid touching the sticky side of the nail wrap to prevent the adhesive from weakening

2

Hot Tip!

Do not allow the nail wrap to overlap with your skin

3

Hot Tip!

If it is difficult to apply the wrap without touching your skin, try a smaller size

Step 5

Trim Excess

Fold the nail wrap over the edge of your nail and gently file away the excess nail wrap, or trim the excess along your nail with nail clippers/scissors and then smooth edges with a file.

1

Hot Tip!

Use nail clippers or nail scissors to easily remove the excess

Step 6

Seal

Apply our top coat to seal and protect your new manicure.

1

Hot Tip!

We highly recommend using our top coat for best results! Not all top coats are compatible with Polish Pops

2

Hot Tip!

If you choose not to use our top coat, avoid using "quick-dry" and "gel setter" top coats as they may dry too quickly and lift the nail wrap from your nails

How to Remove

Easy, Damage-Free Removal

Apply oil to the flat end of the wooden cuticle stick and gently shimmy it underneath the edges to loosen the nail wrap, OR wipe clean with acetone-free nail polish remover.

Tips & Tricks

No. 1

Avoid water, lotions, and oils for about 1 hour before and after application.

No. 2

Applying a top coat after application can extend the life of your nail wraps and keep them shinier longer.

No. 3

If you plan to use sunscreen, apply a top coat to protect the nail wraps from the active ingredients which can tarnish the top layer.

No. 4

For best results, apply the nail wraps prior to going to bed, to allow the wraps to adhere overnight.

No. 5

Our nail wraps are double ended, which allows you to get multiple uses out of each strip by cutting them in half! For best results cut them while they are on the paper backing and put the leftovers in an air tight bag for later use.

No. 6

Always leave a small gap between the nail wrap and your cuticle. Do not allow the nail wrap to overlap with your skin.

No. 7

If you have short nails, using a file to remove the excess nail wrap may be difficult. If that is the case, use nail clippers to clip the nail wrap above the tip of your nail, and then file the remaining excess to smooth the wrap along the edge of your nail.
