This is an excellent way to start with polish pops. I was hesitant to try, but I am totally hooked. I have a young baby so I love being able to do my nails at home, the gels set within minutes and my nails look great for at least two weeks! Amazing!
Let me start this off by saying...I've done gel, I've done SNS, I've done olivia and june, I've done OPI all the coats....I've done it all.
I was so excited to find this -- or maybe it found me. My bestie got a NASTY -- I mean NASTY (We are talking 2 surgeries on her finger already) infection from a FAVORITE BOUGIE nail salon in this area. I was addicted to SNS and would typically take my own color with me but still the tools etc were not cleaned -- YOU KNOW THEY DONT CLEAN THEM....As someone with compromised immunity I really didn't need one more thing -- and so I swore off nail salons. Not to mention -- why in the world would I pay $60-$100 to potentially get an infection... (Plus my nails were super thin from all of the SNS'ing I was doing)
I started seeing ads for polish pops -- and it takes me a while to pull the trigger on these types of things --- I mean A WHILE -- but I did it. I just kept thinking about the giant hole in my friend's finger.
I installed them solo yesterday and have gotten 2 compliments and played pickleball in them along with washing my hair and doing dishes etc. and they are doing great.
I will say I forgot to cure one of the nails....and yeah it peeled right off...but it was totally my fault. Each color comes with some extras so you can easily fix it...which I did.
So far so good...I'll keep you posted ;)
My first manicure with my new starter kit is on day 9 and still looking marvelous! No chips; just as shiny as first applied, and I am still getting compliments! I just ordered two new gel colors, and can't wait to do my nails again!!!
