These are SO worth the hype!! Easy application... No chipping or peeling... No bulky press-on nail feeling... customizable length... cute colors and designs...nearly salon quality nails for so much less... I'm hooked!
I am rough on my nails, always using them as tools, and my first set lasted 2.5 weeks and was still in great shape! By the end of each set, I sometimes notice some minor scratches on their surface, but nothing super obvious. The starter kit was the same price as one hard gel manicure, so it was a perfect budget-friendly middle ground between regular polish and expensive salon visits. They're not as strong as a hard gel manicure, but they reinforce the strength of my natural nails and have excellent longevity. It still feels too good to be true, but I haven't found anything I dislike about them!
I had gotten just the pops because I already had a UV light. I decided to get the kit because I was traveling and it had a light and tools (nail scissors, file and a nice cuticle pusher) with it in a cute little bag. Works perfectly, as I am on that trip right now. The kit even comes with cuticle oil, which is great for taking them off. I highly recommend the starter kit.
